Spiritist Education for a World in Transition

The TriState Spiritist Federation, in conjunction with the Spiritist Center A Caminho da Luz, is honored to present a the IX Spiritist Educators Workshop featuring the main theme "Education for the Transitioning World" with guest speakers Miriam Masotti Dusi and Janine Mattar on September 9-10, 2017.

Miriam Masotti Dusi is a spiritist, director for the Brazilian Spiritist Federation (FEB) and coordinates the National Department of Education for Children and Youth. Professionally she is a psychologist and has a Master degree in the field of Human Development. Miriam specializes in psycho-pedagogy and Gestalt-Therapy. She is a published author of the book "A Grande Viagem" for children and the coordinator for the “Sublime Sementeira: Evangelização Espírita Infanto juvenil”, published by FEB.

Janine Mattar is a spiritist since childhood. She grew up participating in the activities of the Casa Espírita Cristã in Vila Velha, ES, Brazil. Janine became a spiritist educator and active member of the spiritist movement at a young age. She currently coordinates the Child, Youth and family Education Department of the Sociedade Praiana de Estudos Espíritas em Vitória, ES. Janine is a teacher and has a master degree in Education.
"This will be a refreshing workshop for educators preparing for the start of the spiritist education classes starting in September as well for those who want to join this mission of love," -- Janine Mattar.
The workshop will present hands-on activities for spiritist educators. The workshop is recommended for educators, parents and those who would like to start working in the education department of a spiritist center.
