Suicide Prevention: Spiritist Offers a Lifeline

The Long Island Spiritist Doctrine Studies is hosting the 5th edition of the Suicide Prevention workshop on November 18th, 2017, at the Stony Brook University in Long Island. Suicide in the United States has surged to the highest levels in nearly 30 years. According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, there are an average of 121 suicides per day in the US. The forums, presentations and workshop will present tools for those dealing with anxiety, depression and mental-related dysfunctions.

Spiritism offers a lifeline for those who are going through hardships. After the presentations a Q&A session will provide space for personal questions.
